Demoed several bikes at Daytona this year. One was a new Free. Handled like a sports car. Power to weight ratio versus a Tri. Really gave it zippy performance. If it was just me, I probably have one. Two up, the Tri is my choice. Nice bike though

You are the first person I've seen that understands the thinking behind the design of the free.:clapping:
 
I agree! I think anyone that owns a Free gets it.

After about a 1000 miles, I will never return to 2 wheels. For the type of riding I do (not crazy, just not really longs trips) this little hot rod is about as much fun as I've had on a Harley. If anyone is thinking about owning one, it will not disappoint.
 
Even for touring they work great. Rode mine from MT. to Portland , OR in one day. Really great on the long road there. Carried plenty of gear and did great at 75 / 80 MPH all day long. And yes they are a lot of fun. Like mine so much I am frustrated when I have to take it in for maintenance or warranty work.
