Just got back from 2 1/2 hour 100 miler. Cool enough for my denim vest. 1 coffee/kolache stop where a few other riders admired the Geezerscooter. First 85 or 90 was on farm to market 2 lanes. Finished on the freeway on cruise control at 80 and feet up on the pegs. JJ Cale, Delbert McClinton, Robert Cray, WC Clark and Keb' Mo serenading me all the way. Life is great. :D

I was just thinking the same thing as to what a perfect day this is for a trike ride. I should have mine back from servicing by next weekend and maybe, just maybe, next weekend's weather will be the same or better! ThumbUp

You said a mouth full. Beautiful up here in San Angelo too. Lower 70s and no wind!!! Took the "Hot Rod" ('06 Stratoliner S) out to limber it up a bit. On good days with my legs are working well it's still nice to do two wheels. Don't get to do that often and since I was going SOLO today it just seemed like a good idea.

Youre making me so sad! Doc said no riding for weeks and weeks yet! Might be Christmas before he gives me the go-ahead to jump up behind Scalp Hunter and feel the wind on my face . . . Sigh . . . So I'm sitting here reading, and wishing, and hoping, and (with any luck) healing up. Enjoy the nicer weather for Champ and Tony and me, okay? And a few pictures of the open road - and the trees when they start to change - would be appreciated, too!

Took the missus out shopping today on trike. It was such a nice day after yesterdays tornado weather here. She needed a jacket and some leaves are already falling. No color to trees yet.

Nancy, I hope you heal up before next spring so a bunch of us can make a Hill Country bluebonnet ride. And I'll have video and photos from the run up to Horseshoe Bay in a couple of weeks. That should make you feel better. :) And I'm planning a ride up to North Texas sometime in the near future. Photo ops there too. Maybe get up to Lost Maples when they start turning. Beautiful colors there.

I did the same up here in the tundra of northern Wisconsin. It got up to a blistering 65* today. No leaves turning up here either. Got back in time to watch the Packers get beat, darn.... Another week and we will start packing up to head south around October 1st. :) :) It was 45* this morning.

Myron, I'm making it a point to be all better so we can get together to see the bluebonnets! Am looking forward to seeing pix, too!

Nice riding day...here in god's country, 90 degrees and no wind. I did 320 miles on two wheels today with the local MC. Nursing a sore ass-but other than that it was mavelous!!!ThumbUp:D
