Deer Crossing

Ummmmm..... I wonder how she was able to pass her written and practical driving test. ROTFL!!!!!

Rode through Southern Indiana today, saw that they had moved some of them crossing signs there. Wonder if she had anything to do with it.

We have got to have this lady in the GOVERNMENT.She would make a great VICE PRES.or maybe even higher.THANKS FOR SHARING

I hit a deer with my trike a couple of weeks ago. When the police arrived I told him the deer had crossed in the wrong location, the deer crossing sign was about a half mile up the road. He just gave me one of those "are you stupid or what looks" :) :)

Actually this really did happened about a year ago and the radio station was one in Fargo, ND. It was in all of the newspapers around here and I know it ended up on some of the bike forums. This fall there was actually another incident in the paper in which a person was questioning why they didn't move the school crossing to another street as it was such a busy street and kids shouldn't be crossing there.:gah:

That doe's it!

ThumbUp This hunting season I am going to move a deer crossing sign into my back yard across from my hot tub!

Obviously no one here understands the intelligence of the deer population. The deer thought the signs were put up for their benefit. They simply are choosing those areas's to cross the highways and roadways with the understanding the government put the signs there as a way to help protect their population.
The problem is we haven't provided crossing guards as we do for our children when they are going to and coming home from school. Maybe the funds weren't available for the crossing guards. I'm sure once the current administration is made aware of the problem, our taxes will be raised to help the states secure the needed assistance to eleviate this problem. :):)
cooltech:cool:
Your roadway/deer concern analysis is now complete. At no charge for the added clarity to this concern.

Cooltech - I think you've got the solution. If they move the Deer Crossing signs to the same area as the School Crossings, they could use the same Crossing Guards at no increase in cost. Also, a side benefit would be the children could "pet" the deer while waiting for the "OK" to cross. Then, all could cross over together. Your a genius! ThumbUp :D

:laugh: Hey! I didn't realize how intelligent I am! And then petting the deer benefit! You and I should run for office!
