Anyone going to Daytona? I'm thinking about going in the RV. If you're going do you stay for the whole time or just 5-7 days. If you camp any suggestions? We've never been, any tips or info will help.

When we used to go we always stayed in St. Augustine. On the north side the KOA
Is very nice. We have also have stayed in the state park in the area.
It's a short ride down A-1-A to Daytona and it's along the ocean. Plus it's much quieter

I just ride over from the house, then come back at night,

We're planning to be there for a Bikeweek from March-16-18 and usually stay in one of the hotels close to the Speedway . Hope to see you there ThumbUp

Getting off the subject,but congrats Mike on the pic on the back of Wing World.ThumbUp
Ron and I are going, but we will stay around Umatilla. It's middle of the state and less than 100 miles to Daytona. We are not real rally people, but love to look at the bikes, check out the vendors, which can be done in 1 day. After that we are off riding. We ride with some of the FL Crew when we go down. They know the ins and outs of where to ride. I need to look for an RV park near Umatilla and see what's available. I ask Wade (one of our FL Crew friends) about that area and he gave a definite affirmative. If you want to stay a little farther out of Daytona, let me know and I will let you all know what we come up with. Annette
