Damn Fine Trikes

a guy 100 miles away from me , has a used Damn Fine Trike kit for a Softail is there anything that i should look at ? the bearing on the main shaft is missing some ball bearings and is pretty rusty ! thanks , bob byrne

I am assuming that you are referring to the pulley-differential carrier bearing, once disassembled, there should be a bearing number on one of the two, and i would replace them both.

Missing balls ...... not a good thing.
