CSC Trike mod for the Goldwing changes your gear ratio?

Not sure about the gear ratio but my speedo is almost spot on with my GPS speed now. Tire size has as much to do about that as anything..... Jim

The answer is yes and no. Obviously all trike conversions use an entirely different gearset, which is an automotive based ring and pinion differential drive setup. The final drive gear set ratio as well as the wheel and tire size is based on each manufacturer's testing as to what gear ratio is needed to propel the trike at as close as possible to the the same RPM range and performance as the stock 2 wheel bike. Technically, it may not be the exact same gear ratio, but will result in the best setup for that bike.
