Cruise control

I recently purchased a 2007 Honda Trike, the cruise control indicator on the instrument panel stays on. I cannot turn it off at the switch. Any suggestions or possibilities as to why it will not turn off?

The button is stuck. It will not cause any problem. To release it tap on the button like 50 times.. Some say spraying it with contact cleaner or WD40 can free it up...

Wings are truly an engineering wonder, but the one area they are weak on are their switches. Especially hazard lights. Contact clean usually works. One time I tried my hazard lights just to see if they worked and couldn't get them off for 2 days. Plus, many of these switches are coated with a thick grease oftentimes so in cold weather they are more likely to stick. Keep playing with them. They usually will come loose.

I had the same trouble with my hazard lights. It was freezing when I got my trike in Dec. I sprayed contact cleaner in the switches and everything works better. As for the cruise control if it doesn't want to play don't worry about it.
Happy riding.

I have the total screen on my navi pack stop working turn off bike, and back it comes when you turn the power back on. never does it for the dealer yep one of those pain in the butt things.

I sprayed a little wd-40 on the switch and it finally came unstuck. I too, pushed the hazardous switch, it too stucck, I worked with it for over an hour. I was just about to give up and try later when it too came unstuck. Thanks for the tip..Ron
