Beautiful day for a ride yesterday in northern Illinois on Memorial Day, 85 and partly sunny. We headed into southern Wisconsin for the backroads. One of our stops was at The Bunker in Waterford, WI, lots of war memorabilia and a very patriotic theme. Of course there was food and plenty of bikes to check out.
We stopped for lunch at Lauber's Ice Cream Parlor in East Troy, WI. What a gem of an old fashioned soda fountain, I should have taken more pics but alas did not.
