If we listen to the mainstream media the whole economy is down.

We went shopping for flooring yesterday and every store we went to told us they had about a week's wait for installation as they were backed up. Judging by the number of people in the stores, they did seem to be pretty busy. From the amount of house construction in our area, SOMEbody's buying new homes, too. Just how many people can still be out of work?

The government is paying them not to work so sooner or later the printing press in Washington is going to run out and there won't be any more money for people so they can sit around and not work and collect stimulus checks...

That is a very good question and I am sure the Dems will beat the hell out of Trump for a slow down in the economy OR on the other hand they will beat the hell out of him for opening the country too FAST. Seems they have a counter answer to everything, BUT are they scaring folks into a false reality?

Construction is booming in the Phoenix area. It was declared "essential" and never slowed down. I live in a gated community of 2458 homes. Most homes here are selling in a day or two. A relator told me yesterday that often times homes are sold before the For Sale sign goes up. Buyers from high tax states like California and even New York and New Jersey are snapping them up and moving here. Our prices are still reasonable compared to some but I fear for what the future will bring as this balloon just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Meanwhile, contractors here are doing very well..... Same thing here. I could sell my home for more than $60k than I paid for it a little over 1 year ago... but I can’t find anything decent in my price range to replace it so quickly...they sell without being placed on the market...bidding wars are frequent. The remodel guys are swamped.

People are moving from California and big cities so there aren't enough homes for all of them. I suspect new home construction will be on the boom for some time now. Or until those places they are all moving from wise up and let cops do the job they are supposed to. But that won't happen until the Democrats in those places are removed from office.

Why would anyone in their right mind live in these obviously liberal states? I know there are those who have jobs there and can't afford to move, so they suffer it out, but what a way to live controlled by the rich political brokers. Those that can move out are moving. I read 1000 people a day moving to Florida and I believe it.

Got to end all the unimployment extensions and stimulus prizes. The contractors are all looking for help , as are the stores. The two week delivery’s are due to the “Why work when the free food shows up at my doorstep “ attitude.

We created this mess , and after last night’s shit show , we must waite for the next chapter after November.

The saga continues till then ........

It was probably to painful to watch, so I did not. I can do You Tube the day after if want to, but I probably won't do that either. It is what it is and we can only hope this thing goes the 'right' way, as in right vs left.

We have relatives in real estate, homes are selling big time in their area. Hope these folks don't bring their liberal attitudes with them.

Unfortunately they do. Austin Texas is not much better than California now. They came here and ruined Austin with their liberal ways. It would not surprise me to see Texas becoming 4 states at some point or at least 2. There has always been a north/south thing and those runaway Californians just enhanced it.

It’s like out here they move from the Cities’ Come to the suburbs and want to bring the city with them....

Probably about right Bikerbill. The amount of construction in the Ocala area is unreal. Called my niece in Orlando and they're seeing a great deal of new housing construction as well. When you fly over Florida there's a lot of open area yet. Only problem is, there are some democrats in the state.

Just push them into the water/ocean/gulf and tell them to control the waves.
