Never heard of a "talkabout" on a bike.
Honda factory system is plug and play.J&M also makes a good plug and play system if it's CB type 2-way you are talking about.
Need more information to help you.

I have 2009 goldwing. Don't want CB but would like to talk to other bike in group.
I need something that is not expensive. Any ideas.

I second the Sena Bluetooth system........ we talk with three of us all riding down the street (O' all on different bikes)
