colors and "go fast"

Okay so the Valkyrie is in the garage - I'm super happy with it - several of you directed toward this particular trike and I'm glad you did! On to next steps and associated questions:
1. I'm having it painted Thursday - I just can't live with the purple - I'm leaning toward a Black with silver flake in it - white pearl and Viper red are under consideration - opinions please!
2. I bought a trigger wheel from Mimi (Thanks) - is it hard to install? Could it hurt the engine? Will I feel the increase in power due to 6 degree advance in "the seat of my pants" - overall is this a good upgrade? Opinions please!
3. I've got the MotorTrike kit on my Valk - where is the best place to get cooler new or used wheels? 235/60/15s with 4x4.5 bolt pattern - not sure on backspacing - I'd love to pop a set used - or a wire wheel set - Opinions and advice please!

Oh dear, Philly......you are going to get as many color opinions as there are members here! LOL! Look at my trike....... you KNOW I'm going to vote for the lighter/brighter colors. If you ask my husband......... go for BLACK, or maybe BLACK......... unless you can get your hands on a tequila sunrise 2010 Screaming Eagle Street Glide, then you should never go for black.

About wheels.... the rear wheels on these kits are actually car wheels. Check out your local tire/wheel shop and see what shiny things they have to offer that might meet your taste.

...ah, a "COLOR THREAD".......kinda' like "OIL" Threads...Everyone has a different opinion........All of Your Color Choices for the Valk sound good though...."Personally" I always liked em' in Black....

Well, sure, you can always go with black, if you can't think of an actual color!
Just kiddin'. I never saw a bike painted anycolor I didn't like, but I do prefer the bright, lighter colors. Pearl White with Viper Red sounds great to me!!!

Sounds like we created another monster. Get the trike,love it, ride it then CHANGE IT. Wow I like that color, look at all the shiney stuff, would it run better with this or that or both?
I feel you got the best bike ever made and turning it into a trike just made it better. Now make it yours and enjoy.

Cream over RED was a favorite of the Valk. I like the light color because it is easy to spot on the road in a parking lot and at night by CAges. Also it take well to graphics / pin stripes etc.

I just came this old post. I don't expect a reply, however, "Fast Black" is only color for a Valkyrie!
