Been riding in the cooler temps but only can handle it for awhile. I bought a pair of Gerbings heated gloves which helps me. Maybe go with the whole setup. I am on blood thinner meds so I get cold a lot quicker. Should have ordered a heated seat with the triglide when I got it I guess. Just looking for something that is easy to get in and out of.

I just bought the Harley jacket liner for the wife and myself. 98330-15vm for myself and 98338-15vw for the wife. We do a lot of riding and have been cold quite a few times especially here in Ohio.

Surdyke.com to get 20% off with no tax. Haven't had a chance to try them out yet. If they work I'll probably get the gloves.

Easy installation with a built in heat controller. All parts included.

We have the Gerbing heated jacket liners. They really does the trick for us. Just as easy to put on as any other jacket, and an extra 5 seconds to plug it in and turn it on.

You might really like a sheepskin over the seat...warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer.

Wow for got about the sheep skin cover. I have seen those on other bikes but never really thought about it. I had a heated seat on my Ultra and it worked very good but most of the time it was too hot even in low setting.

It doesn't get that cold in So. Cal. but wife and I have Carhartt insulated bib overalls, keeps the legs nice and warm. Available at WalMart as Arctic Coveralls. Also have the Harley heated jacket liners. I rarely use mine, she does all the time.

Good Luck

Try visiting "The Warming Store" on the net and look at the "Venture" line of heated gear. The jacket liner has a heat controller built in with three individual settings so you won't need a separate controller. Their heated gloves have individual heat controls on each hand and have nano wire technology on both the jacket and gloves so you won't feel the wires.

I had the jacket/gloves HD heated gear system and sold them on Craig's List. Too bulky for me and actually stumbled on to the Venture line. I like them better than the Gerbing gear that I had, but it is actually to each his own preference. The Venture gear is also less expensive than the HD Gerbing built line.

Good luck with whatever you decide on. Oh, by the way, the Gerbing gear and Venture gear are not compatible - i.e. you cannot use HD Gerbing gloves with the Venture jacket and vice versa.

I have the Gerbing heated liner, gloves, pants and insoles. Only use the pants and insoles if it gets below 30. Had them for four years and would not hesitate to buy them again.

I had to send the pants back to the factory once because I got them to close to the hot pipes.Took some time to clean up the pipe. Fixed for me at a very small charge. sent one glove and liner in last year for plugs I pulled of not turning enough and pulling to hard. No charge. Good products, Great Company

I have used the TourMaster jacket liner with the updated controller for the past three years and I have really liked it. It has a light layer of Thinsulate in it and looks good enough to wear by itself if you have to. I would never go without a heated liner again.

Colder than hell here in the Santa Clarita Valley, but no snow....yet. Rode to breakfast yesterday in 39* cold. Remembered why I bought my ski mask. Other than my face, didn't feel that cold. Guess I'm just one of those idiots on a motorcycle :D

At least you got out in it. I sat here all day drinking coffee & watching the 10* freshness outside. We are having a heat wave. Yesterday it was a balmy 4* !

I vacationed near Bradenton, FL over Xmas week and rented a 2015 TriGlide for 5 days from Manatee River HD. $97 per day unlimited mileage + $25 for the extra insurance I needed to cover loss of use. All my HD Insurance transferred over. :)

We had it for 5 days and rode the heck out of it. Temps from 60 to 80 all week. :pepper:

Today I venture out in the low 40s here in PA. :AGGHH:

I just absolutely can't wear heated gear.....not even in single digit Temps on a Motorcycle....over the years, Olympia Motosports All Weather Gear, and First Gear All Weather Gear have been the Best I've used for "Stay-Warm-And-Dry" All Day Riding in the 20s and Below ( a little pricey, but worth it )
....ThumbUp.....Thirties and above, and I don't require much to stay comfy.....;)

I've had Gerbing gear for years - can't go wrong with it. Now I have the H-D hybred gloves, jacket liner and FirstGear pant liners and wireless remote controller. Chemical heat packs for my toes. I ride all winter here in the Chicago are. We just did our chapters Freeze Your Ass Off ride on Jan. 1st. Started in the upper 20's then heated up to 34* :)

Can't imagine liners with build in controls. What if you need to adjust the temps (which I always seem to do) do you have to stop or can you some how dig under your outer wear to get to the controls?

The hybrid gloves are great. You can wear them off the bike - like shoveling snow or driving your car or anything else away from the bike or you can just plug them into the jacket liner. And they are the most supple of any winter glove I have ever tried on.....not nearly as bulky as winter gloves.

Balaklava is another must have for long or very cold rides.

The only thing I have to put up with now is listening to all the non winter riders whining about they can't wait for summer to get here - I just smile and ride away grinning from ear to ear. :) :)

My old saying is "I'm not spending $34K to store my bike in a garage for 5 to 6 months of the year." :)

Stay warm my friends.

I've had a Gerbing Heated Jacket Liner for years now and us it with my leather jacket all the way down to 9 degree weather. Just bought some Gerbing Heater Gloves for this winter.

check out the Warm and Safe website for some interesting info on heated clothing. They make much of the heated gear for First Gear,TourMaster and others and also sell under their own name.

I wear the Gerbings jacket Liner and First Gear gloves with and lined chaps with snowmobile boots. I also use a neoprene ski mask for the face.

Gerbings heated gear is one of the best motorcycle accessories I've ever bought!
i started with the jacket liner and gloves, bought the pant liner next..they work very well but stopping to put the pant liner on was a problem as you have to remove your jeans..went with the Union Ridge over jacket and pants. Easier to put on, waterproof too...I really like them.
