Chrome Metal Valve stems

Does anyone on this site have chrome metal valve stems in there wheels? I have a garmin 590LM that can monitor tire air pressure but they require metal valve stems to be used. I am on Willy Shiny's waiting list for a new set of chrome rims, forks, rotors, spacers and baby moons so I would also like to find some chrome metal stems to compliment the new rims.

I have never been able to find the valve stem hole diameter but I just found a set of chrome metal stems from MC Enterprises that come with two different grommets for hole sizes .453" and .625". Hopefully one of these will work, they claim they will fit my trike.
My other concern is my HD dealer says that sometimes the metal stems will not work with the rims on some of the Harleys because they are tapered inside the rim at the valve stem hole and metal stems will not seat. That is why I am hoping someone on this site has a set on their trike already so I know they will fit.
