Checking in from New Zealand

Am looking at the idea of a trike for a trip in the USA next year. My wife enjoys riding pillion and is not 100% happy riding in my sidecar which is connected to a 1990 R80 GS we have ridden(without sidecar) around NZ, Australia, USA and Canada. I took it solo to Chile and Argentina last year and now we are talking trike. We do fairly long distance leisurely touring and camp 95% of the time except when visiting rellies. Looks like a good forum.:yes::beerchug:

JohnnyMac - I am sure the wife would appreciate the trike and that you would find that the ride is easier than the side car. When are you planning your trip the US next year and what areas are you visiting? Again, welcome.
