For anyone that has teardrop LED tail lights on their trike. Guard them with your life. I had to order one from Champion Trikes. Stop light burned out on one of mine. $139.00 EA from Champion:mad:. Just fore the light housing. Not a happy camper. That doesn't include the bezel and gasket. You can buy lookalikes on line for $125.00 complete for 2 but they require hard wiring. Also footprint is unkown. Light board is loose in mine and I'm guessing one of the wires is broke off. However, the assembly is glued together and must be destroyed to get at the board. Something I will do when the new one gets here.

Yea I saw those. Mine has 4 wire. Turn, stop, tail and ground. Yellow turn. Two plugs. Small 3 wire plug and larger 2 wire plug. 2 ground wires.

For some reason, I was under the impression that those lights were the same ones that were on my wife's Honda Shadow Areo 750. She no longer has that bike but I think they looked very simular, if not the same ones.

looks like they make different versions. Mine has 5 wire hook up. Turn lights up Yellow. Tail is dim red. Stop is bright red. Don't know why buy the turn has 2 yellow wires going to it. Just got the bill. With shipping it cost $159.70 just to replace a lightbulb.!!!:mad::mad: Let's go back to 1157's Please!!!!

Don't think I'll be singing praises for Champion in the future. This is just not right. I should have took my chances on 2 new complete for a little over $100.00

If you check this link http://www.shiny-hiney.com/other.html and click on assembly dimensions or template depending on the light it will bring up dimensions and a printable template you can use for comparison. The wiring is just that wiring a normal light that doesn't have a n amber can be used with a simple trailer light converter that costs $10 wired in.

Yea, I found that site after I ordered the light. I would have had to order two and rewire both sides but it would have been a whole lot cheaper. It's the Amber turn light that makes it OEM.

Received my new tail light today. Turns out to be for a Yamaha Roadstar. Part #ctl-00084-IT. You champion guys will want to wright that down.

your 4 oem screws holding your bezel to light board. Holes in new board to big. Requires washers.
