Did anybody converting a Road* with Champion kit have any problems with mounting the stock exhaust/mufflers?

They seem to be too close to the frame and are hitting in a few places. Any info you may be able to give would be much appreciated.

No problems with exhaust fitting with mufflers.
I did not use valve for master cylinder. Mover reservoir up higher, brake bleeding was easy, always a hard pedal.
Was shipped the wrong wire pigtail to connect rear lights.

this may be too late to be any help, but here goes. Had Bub Stubbies on R* before conversion. Kit parts definitely did not work. Wound up having extensions fabricated at a hot rod shop. clearances are good.

I had my road * done 2 years ago, had it done at a trike shop, it came out fine ! Sorry not much help...

I had to get some longer bolts and add a few washers to lower the mufflers so they did not hit the frame. No biggie.
My champion kit came with Bassani mufflers because I couldn't use the stock exhaust on my old tour glide.
