Cerakote Ceramic Paint Sealer

Just wrapping up my Ceramic Paint Sealer research project. I believe some of you (Jack) have used this product and I wanted to ask if you did any special prep before the sealer.

Can you use a waterless wash? Did you use a surface prep spray? Anything I missed?

I always love a first time build … it’s gonna be a minute before you need Ceramic Paint Sealer though. Have fun with the build

The application instructions are pretty straight forward ... wash the bike, spray it on, wipe it off. Hence ... my question about "prep". All of the detail vids use a "surface prep" before applying.

Just looking for anyone that has used this paint sealer and if they did any special prep beyond what the box says. My research project imo has this Cerakote as the way to go. Thanks

For those contemplating which of many ceramic coatings to consider...on YouTube...Project Farm. He purchases every product tested out of his own pocket therefore an unbiased opinion. His testing nearly always utilizes scientific methods of testing. He too likes Cerakote and Turtle Wax Hybrid.

I used Cerakote on mine 1 year ago, it still looks good and I recommend it highly

Did the Cerakote Ceramic Paint Sealer thing today after a complete detail. It was very user friendly and my Vivid Black looks super Vivid Super Black. Big bang for the buck ...

I gotta tell ya … sometimes the smallest things make the biggest impact.

Adding the “spear medallion” to the front fender and the mini HD clock were 2 of my favorites, (Thanks JT) out of 57 additions I have done.

This detail job and application of Cerakote Sealer is probably the best $20 I have ever spent. (Thanks Jack)

Thank you guys for indulging … look at the “depth” of my paint. Awesome!
