I got a 2012 Goldwing trike with a Lehman conversion. I want to get a CB for my group rides. What kind/brand of CB do you recommend. I assume the CB will just play through the intercom system? Any other radio specs that you recommend?

Also headsets available that go inside helmets. That is also where the mike boom comes from if you want to speak.

I am planning on adding the GL2Way instead of the Honda cb. It works plug and play just like the honda plus it has a connection for a family radio kit. I hear they are working on a way to integrate your mobile phone also. All this is hearsay but i would definitely look them up.
I agree with Doctoss, i have this CB unit and it works as good as the Honda unit. Had for about 4 months and the people we ride with says it is loud and clear. It is also good on reception.
Hope this helps.

I have the Honda CB. Works fine for me. I got a new headset put in my helmet yesterday, From J&M. Radio reception is a lot clearer than the Honda headset that I had. I think J&M made the Honda sets also but they were pretty old. So get a good headset. :)

Radio shack has a portable that has mini pin connections for the mike and speaker that can be attached without a lot of problems to bike cable if you can find the pin numbers and their function on the honda cable
you will have a separate mike sw mounted some where.
