CB Radio

I have a small "car CB' Cobra radio set up with it's own integrator box that I use on my 1200 bike, it' set up so it operates through intercom / just like stock CBs. Works great

You wouldn't be integrating it, just need power 12 vdc to operate, fab some brackets, or find some on net .... listen via speaker or use ext speaker outlet to pipe sound into a headset.

Thanks! Two more questions: What does the integrator do? Have you a headset recommendation for use w/my half helmet?

The integrator for lack of a better term, is between the CB and the rider's headset outlet mini DIN and through a 4 term dual position relay, integrates the CBs mic output, ext speaker, etc so when used, the Type III system fully integrates the CB in all functions. CB is heard through headsets, AM / FM / etc mute when CB talks, pass hears CB, all just like factory. I built mine from schematic supplied maybe 20 year ago to me. I also formed the rain cover from plexiglass, made my mount, use an ant splitter to integrate one antenna for both. I have plugs for PTT, ant, power, as well. The integrator has a mini DIN to let me plug my headset into. All my headsets are J&M.

Somewhere, not sure just where, I have the schematic still, but it will not help you. You can likely more easily just wire a speaker and hear the CB seated behind your windshield .... I used to many years ago.
