CB Radio does not xmit,

Receiving radio hear a beep but no voice. I receive the other radio,s transmission fine.Headsets work fine in the intercom mode.

Duz the TX show when you try to transmit? Might try using some tuner cleaner on the transmit button. Good Luck

i'm not an expert but if the finals in the cb module are burned out it would do what you describe also it would show TX on the screen yet not be getting out. If you know someone who has a RF meter or a SWR meter that will let you know if anything is going out the antenna. Good luck

Since the person you are trying to talk with hears the "Roger Beep" I'd say you are trying to transmit but with no audio modulation because either the audio is not getting to the c/b or the unit itself is defective.

The MIC output is fed to the audio unit and back out to the c/b. That would explain why you have intercom. Do you have access to a service manual and ability to troubleshoot wires and signals? I hate to deliver bad news but I'd expect this is not an easy or fix. I hope I'm wrong. If you don't have a manual I can send you some pages from my '06 shop manual. Hopefully by now you have solved your problem.. But if not......... I had a similar problem for a while. What I discovered was that if I started the bike with the CB on it did not transmit audio but everything else worked fine. When I started the bike then turned on the CB all worked well. Go figure......
