I tried to remove the left engine cover to check coolant level. It seemed like the heel / toe shifter was in the way. Am I doing something wrong?

If you hold the shifter down, as in 1st gear, and use a small screw driver to pry the bottom right corner of the cover(closest to the rear of the trike/bike) it will come off.

I had that same issue and cut a small piece of the bottom of the engine cover off so I could get it on and off without removing heel toe shifter

Un-noticable afterwards

Good idea! :)
