Cannonball Motorcycle Race

Was traveling to a family reunion today on the trike and came upon a group of vintage motorcycles that were participating in the Annual Cannonball Motorcycle Race on their way up one of our local mountains. The race starts in Atlantic City, NJ and ends in Carlsbad, CA. Now that is some dedicated motorcyclist!!! Awesome to see the old motorcycles on the move!

When I dieseled up in Sussex NJ , there was 10 or so heading towards the try-state monument around 1pm. Unless they were getting fuel and traveling on rt84 :Shrug:

I was reading about that the other day. Would be a pretty neat thing to be able to do a ride like that!

Doc from Doc's Harley in Green Bay, Wi is riding in it. Has a old Harley with a sidecar.
He's the guy that also has a 7 engine Harley that is really neat and runs. You need 7 people to ride it.

Yeah, it would be a neat thing to do. It would be a long ride on one of them though not to mention all the maintenance to keep it going for that long of a ride.
