Well today was almost perfect!!After finding out Cathy was going to stay a
X-tra day in Pensacola, I got the trike out, wiped it down and hit the road..
Went to check on the family cemetary it was good, then rode down to the ole family house where my cousin lives had a great time with him... got back on the trike rode to town had brunch...then rode over to a campground on the Alabama River. All of this on back roads.. Tems started out in the 60's ended about 84.. What a great day and ride so many friendly people all waving and most with all five fingers in the air . The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been to have had Cathy with me.... but that is ok,,,, I still ran away and enjoyed it........put a total of 248 miles on the trike, and it ran great....:yes:

Yesterday was a beautiful day. I wish I could have road with you.

I was lucky enough to spend 7 hours on my Johndeer

I tried to pretend I was on my trike.

Bryan, I could have spent the day cutting grass But in the country where I live U just about have to be lost to come down our road,, so I decided to run away... I won't get yard of the month for this month but I sure had a great day... I will cut the grass and weed eat but it will be when the days are not as beautiful as yesterday....
Also we did not take any new pictures of our RV trip we figured everyone was tired of them :yes:

It sure was gorgeous! We did a couple hundred miles between home and some beautiful backroads to the north and east, and checked out a tiny but great place for lunch: Biker Burger in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Great burgers!

Steve, I can't speak for everyone here, but money being what it is these days I "travel" vicariously through others. So if you get the inclination, post away!! I, for one, love seeing them! :yes:

and EARTHQUAKES!!!!! At least in tornado alley they can get shelter. Earthquakes are scary!

Nasty tornadoes to the north and west of us this past weekend. No twisters here, but we sure got some strong winds and t-storms. Sunday & Monday were beautiful, but now I see that the storms are about to start in again. Just as well--I have four or five days of paper-grading in my immediate future.

Hey Bryan, no they do not have Wifi at Topsail, we usually go to Starbucks or there is a place down the road called Lucille's that has free wifi. Or if u go to Bass pro they have it free in that whole complex. Last time I was there I just tethered from my phone and also had a neighbor who let me use his..
We will take some more pictures, did not know anyone cared
We are scheduled for Millers Ferry (alabama river) May 20 for 2 weeks and then to Gulf Shores in June for 2 weeks :yes: .
U guys have a great trip and enjoy urself.

Steve, my fuel station emergency cut off switch is malfunctioning. I called Dutchman, they said there was a recall. I was hoping they would send me the switch and I will install it. Nope. It has to be done by a certified RV place.

I have to be able to pump fuel from my 35 gallon second tank to my 35 gal generator tank. If not, I need to buy some more gas cans.

I am not sure how long my generator runs with the air on 18 hours a day? The first weekend in June will be very warm.

We are going to Bama Jam Festival for 4 days. No hookups. Looks like quick showers

Mike and I just got home from a weekend with almost flawless riding weather. Even the rain Friday afternoon that caught us wasn't too bad; day was warm and the rain gear did the job, so no harm done. Saturday and Sunday riding the hills and wooded curves of Eastern Kentucky were a delight with sunshine and 80s temps! And a group of great folks to ride with just made it even better. It's getting me SO in the mood for the rally in the Smokies next month!

87 deg the last few days loos like it will continue til Tues . Going to get Maryann down to bike night on Tues. with the trike and surprise everyone . We may have a new trike member by July she is doing great with it.

Steve, every time I call them, they are running way behind on repairs

I usually get the "bring it down next week answer" and they will try to fit it in.

Runaway RV in Dothan took me right in and are doing a great job so far

Not trikey but ... Been outta work for a bit ... Feds cut the state so state froze fundings in my line ... Just got retail work (not near my previous line) and at minimum but, it is a job ... So now the rent gets paid and I can eat chinese take-out again ... WOO HOO ... :yes:
