Blower Motor Switch Issue

My blower works fine with the exception of if you are set on high and go straight to off it stays on high. If you got to med for a second and then off it goes off. I have also burned up the blower motor relay for the second time this morning. Richard with TBMS was going to check on it, but haven't heard anything back yet. Has anyone else had this issue?

First time I have heard that one !! TMS and Richard will take good care of your problem though!!! Good People there.

Blower motor stopped working. Checked fuses, swapped relays around still nothing. Dial lighting was out til I hit a bump and they came back on. Still no blower. Any thoughts?

I had a problem with my switch and when I took it apart I found the allen screw had just backed out not turning the switch at all. Do you feel the switch go to the different speeds on the fan? I am assuming you are talking about the blower on the heat and air.

I took that cluster out myself yesterday to tighten the allen screw. There are allot of wires and plugs in that compressed area . . . maybe a wire came loose? One of the wires to a light bulb came loose, tried to solder but that didn't work, so going with one less light.

I have taken the switch panel out, pulled all the connectors, and tightened all the screws. Illumination finally came back on, but know blower for the heat and a/c.

Now fog lights have went out. checked and replaced fuse, bulbs and relay. ,

My blower motor stopped working I have power to the motor red hot wire , but the ground has no ground ? If I ground the the negative wire it works ??????? Any ideas ? Were are all the grounds wires located I only found one ground from the battery to the side of the transmission ? THANKS

Most blower motor switches I m told work on switching the ground to different resistance. So it sounds like a switch is bad. Just my thoughts.

I bought a new switch , that did not do anything, I called vintage air & he said it has to be a bad ground the black wire is a ground to the blower motor , I hate to splice in a new ground, I cannot find were the ground wires ground ? THANKS

You can not hurt anything by adding a new ground to the present ground that maybe at fault. all the metal on the vehicle is a ground. You can connect to it as often as necessary.
