Wait, is bi-annual twice a year or every two years? I'm on the wash the trike every two year schedule myself. That's what riding in the rain is for. :qpnmt:

I can totally relate to this.....I ride WAAAAAAAAY too much (as in daily, and for lots of miles) to do much washing.....mine primarily get the "Bikerbozo Wash" also.....:D

i put this up here expecting a bit of a serve for not looking after my babies properly. but instead i have unearthed2 others like me.. here people obsess about cleaning their bikes. they wont ride if their bikes have a speck of dust on them. my bike draws a crown of head shakers around it wherever i park.
its a relief to know im not the only one lol
cheers

OH and i figured bi annual was once every 2 years, but i may be wrong

Make that 3,
Riding in the acid in the rain does a better cleaning job than soap. ;:D

Twice a year.

A motorcycle or trike can be very clean or very ridden. Not both at the same time. The rain ride, garage wipe down is also my main form of cleaning, although during a prolonged cold or wet spell they might get a wash just because they need the attention and I have done all the other maintenance.

Oh - dirt is one thing, but bugs that gave their lives for my enjoyment get cleaned off as soon as possible to prevent them from drying on and becoming insect super-glue.

I am pretty much in the twice a year crowd. Although lately it has been not even once a year. Thank you rain :). Although I did find a few loose bolts so now it is time to wash and check things. That and horn i not working as well as it should so time for replacement and a good wash.

I used to detail mine every week before showing up for a club ride. I then got to noticing that nobody noticed or gave a damn. My bike was just another bike among a dozen others. Everyone was more interested in riding.

Nah, They're like a "Freebie-Spray-On-Bed-Liner" when They reach this consistency...Great protection from Rock Chips, and the bright colored ones look like expensive graphics......ANYTHING can be justified.....
