Best wishes to members along the SE Coast - Take care!

Hurrican

Thanks for thinking of us over on this side.
Guess we will know sometime Thursday nite or early Friday morning

Got all our supplies and just in a waiting mode.

I'll be working thru this storm as I have not yet retired
Think of all the 1st responders that will be out guarding properties and offering assistance to the public. Keep our families in your prayers.

Offered up a prayer for those of you on the coast of Florida and those further north as you're the ones I'm guessin are gonna see the worst of the hurricane.

I filled both our cars with gas and bought plenty of water as we always have too much food in the house (not to mention the wrong kind of food, too). The bike's parked between an interior wall and a refrigerator so I hope it's fairly well protected. If it gets too bad there's a small closet Ma and I can crawl into for the duration of the storm. It's actually long enough where she can stretch out on the floor and I can lay my body on top of hers to protect her. (She's the most important thing I have left in my life.)

Just listened to the weather an although we are having beautiful weather here, our thoughts will be with you guys on the east coast. Good Luck!

Thanks for your concerns out there, looking for some heavy wind and rain inland, hoping it does not intensify. I see lots of traffic going west.

Interview with a storm staying resident, cause he has pet animals, dogs, tropical birds and a emu. I am picturing the emu in the house during the storm! :cxtv:
You guys be safe down there, if it seems stupid to do, then it probably is!

We're running out of gas and water. I filled my tank this AM and the station only had reg. gas and were running out. Police was there directing cars to pumps in an orderly manner and that worked out well. Couldn't buy water as the shelves were bare in food store so had to buy coke.

All you guys and gals on the coast make sure you stay safe. Sounds like you are starting to get the winds now and Matthew is back at a Cat 4. Hope if you stayed you are in a safe place now and everything works out good for you.

Keep all in our prayers

Let's all pray all stay safe and all come through this horrible storm well. ThumbUpFred

You guys along the coast take care. We can always replace objects but can't replace people. Our prayers are with you as you face the storm.

Steve

Couldn't have said this any better...our thoughts and prayers that you all come out of this safely :cxtv:

My brother in SC had numerous trees down, worst in the backyard as it took out part of his deck on the back of the house. He said the street looks like a war zone with trees down everywhere. They lucked out, no major storm surge but winds topped out just over 100mph.
