Best Windshield for passenger wind problem.

JMO but don't waste your money on a Kury Rear Air Foil.
I tried one and by myself , it flopped in the wind. Then had my wife ride with me and she couldn't tell the difference.
Also, my covers didn't fit with it on.
Bought it for $109 and sold it for $39 just to get rid of it.
Just take a look around at other GW's. I have never seen one on a bike at any of the rallies, events or traveling that we have done.

We have the Tulsa Tall and there is no buffeting on the pasanger. Had a slightly shorter screen before and there was a lot of wind on the passanger but once we installed the Tulsa that wind issue went away.

I have a V-Stream windshield, hand wings, trike wings and one of those plexiglass "backblast" things behind the passenger seat. I'm not absolutely sure any of it helped but my best suggestion would be to leave her home if she doesn't like it. Other than slowing down I've done about all that can be expected. : )

The reason I bought the Trike is so my wife can ride. I still have a two wheeler to ride solo so when the Trike goes she goes. Got to make her happy as possible. What I have done so far is install a F4+4 Optoc Armor Windshield which is the same shield as the F4 but about $150.00 cheaper and installed the mirrow wings and she seems to be happy.......

Vstream The Special edition is the thicker model, that's the one to go with.
Full set of Baker wings.

Now as far as the Kury air foil, let me tell you a story.

I was working on a rain repellent project, and my dealer gave me a honda windshield that he had laying around the shop. noy this dealer is 50 mile and most of it is hard-slab freeway..

So I get this thing and I bungee it to my back seat in sort of the position that the Kury foil would be. I head home. About 1/2 way home I realize that I'm sweating like nobody's business, It was a warm day but this was crazy. I didn't sweat like this going down there. Then I realize, there is NO wind or air blowing on my back, I mean NONE. Why, because the windshield tied to the back seat was acting like the kury air foil.

So based on that experience, I would say that in THEORY the kury airfoil MAY work.

ThumbUp ThumbUp for Orville Sage's products! I've even ridden to his place and he fixed me up and had me back on the road, darn fine fella, i would recommend him to anyone. Love his products!

I have V-Stream, Baker wings, hand wings and one of those Kuryakn backshield things that mounts just behind the passenger seat. You're on a bike, if the wind really bothers I think a car would work better. The buffeting is hard to stop because of the way trikes displace air. Even with all the wind control my wife still gets her head battered by the wind. She was just talking this morning about getting a neck brace.

My passenger complains about wind buffeting her around above 45 MPH. I have a 2012 GL1800 with Roadsmith kit with stock windshield. The wind doesn't bother me except in the back somewhat when I ride solo. I have read good reviews on the F4+4 but it is also $400.00 Would rather not spend that much but if I have to in order to fix the problem that is what I will do. Which windshield and Air Wings do you folks like as far as keeping air off the passenger....

This is working GREAT for me.

When my wife used to smoke several years ago with the Kury airfoil and the tulsa +4 she could light a cigarette up to 55 mph. As long as shes happy that works for me.
