Beautiful Poppy & Lunch Ride At The Rock Inn On Tri Glide With The Gang

The wife and I went on a sweet ride today with the Gang..

These beautiful poppies grow this time of year hear in California in the Antilope Valley. They are very pretty and nice to see.

Also a nice lunch at the well known Rock Inn. What a great day. We love our 2017 Tri Glide

I still have the clear and it's good stuff but unfortunately I still got a rock chip that cut right through it. Kinda pis$&@ me off. So I installed the fender bras over the clear and just keep everything clean.

This is working very well for me double protection.Lol. Also the clear will keep any wear from the bra getting to the paint. I have not seen any of this at all yet. Trike fenders love bugs and rocks just the nature of the beast.

Also yes my friend it was a beautiful day sunny and a light breeze around 80 degrees. Perfect ride day. Unfortunately I words with a gentleman of Asian decent that started letting his two kids start climbing on my trike (tourist). That was not pretty before it was over

Nice pictures....yeah, hate the damage to the fenders but what ya gonna do? They stick out there just screaming " hit me!"

Sorry to hear about the new chip, even if he was a tourist you would think he would teach his kids to respect other peoples properly and stay away, he is not doing very good at raising his kids IMHO.

P.S. As for the bras, I may go that route myself down the road, I agree bugs and rocks just seemed to find the right spot when riding, nature of the beast I guess.

I see you are in our neighborhood. We have been waiting for the wild flowers in the foot hills above Bakersfield and down to Arvin but not much yet. We went through AV 2 weeks ago and there weren't many poppies yet - glad to see them coming in now. Too bad all those solar farms are now taking out poppy and wild flower habitat. Great pictures.
