batwing fairing

Memphis Shade makes a batwing shaped windshield for about $400 including the mounting kit. For about a grand Jensen sells a super doper radio with amp and speakers that fit into it. A lot of bucks (in my opinion)

Personally, I sold my Tri-Glide with a bat-wing fairing and bought my naked Freewheeler. On a trip like we are on, I attach a windshield. For putting around the neighborhood and 'lunch runs' I take it off. To each his own

iwas hope someone was making a batwing that just pop on and off like the windshield you have now.

Wreckless makes a detachable fairing.
Not sure what the frame is on the free wheeler.
If it is the same as a road king it will work.

Woody fairings make one but it is not quick release. For the money the woody is one of the best.

saw you were looking for some information

Hey hardheaded: saw on a different forum you were looking for some information. After about a 2 hour search of the net I came up with this page. If you are indeed the same hardheaded that posted looking for this I hope it helps. If not pass on the info. to someone who needs it. Missedem Rick

I was thumbing through my jp cycles catalog and there are a couple of the batwing windshields that are quick detach like the windshields. One had a bluetooth radio and 4 speakers in it. I dont recall who made them or prices but if you search it it shouldnt be too hard to find.
