Has anyone installed or has anyone considered installing a Battery Post remote terminal relocation kit? This would make it easier for a jump if it is ever needed and give easy access to battery terminals without removing the seat, the ECM and everything else that's under there to get at the battery. It could be relocated under a side cover. All current connections would remain the same on the battery terminals. Just thinking out loud.

I have jumped started by hooking the hot lead of a jumper cable to the main battery lug @ the starter and ground cable on the frame, but you need to be very careful

battery post relocation

I got a battery tender wire connected to the battery{under side cover} for easy hookup & I got the same type of wire connecter and add6 ft. of wire & got medium size red -black battery clips attached them & carry them wrapped up if needed just plug in battery tender wire hope this helps

pretty much a trickle charger hookup would do what u looking for, and yes they are helpful for charging or connecting a jump box

I use them on M/C and my Mule

My Trikes came with that hook-up..[Pig Tail].....And yes in time you can charge the battery....But that hook-up can't handle a boost from another battery...AKA Jump Start.

Exactly, very bad JU JU

I see it now, like trying to arc veld with welder hooked up to a cheap extension cord rated for 110 volts

I have used that pigtail many times to jump from a handheld box such as the Noco boost plus, they make a adapter that plugs directly to the pigtail

NO not meant to jump from car battery or larger jumpbox but for the smaller handheld ones it works fine.

Also depends on what gauge wire u use to make your pigtail
