I have the 900 Storm and have been considering installing the Barons front pulley. I have read lots of posts on other forums about this mod on standard Vulcans with great results. No one has been able to comment on how well this would work on the Trike. I live in the mountains and am little concerned about high RPM's at interstate speeds, but also concerned about a lack of power while acceleration on hills. I would think that down shifting to 4th and still not running out of RPM's would be a good benefit. I love this little Trike but I really think it could be much better on the interstates.
Comments,suggestions ??????????

you are rite about interstates. i have one also seems the rpm is high at 65 but they rev much higher than harleys. check out scootworks . they have a front pully also and can tell you how much they lower rpm. also a trick is to get tires with larger dia. maybe go to a 65 or 70 series. mine came with 60 series. i rarely ride interstates as i rather enjoy the side roads. get to see much more than some hotrodder tailgating.btw 1 tooth moves rear axle.1/4 inch forward

I believe a slightly larger rear tire may be the way to go. I just don't want to raise the rear enough to affect the handling. I have read some terrible reviews about the Scootworks pulleys. Barrons seems to have the best one.
I'll definately rethink the rear tire suggestion. Bill
