Here's an interesting fact. According to an article in my local paper the other day, Bald Eagles are making a comeback on Long Island in recent years. I'll have to be on the lookout when out kayaking.

Their getting as common as Turkey Buzzards at my hunting club in Sullivan Co. NY..A few miles off the Delaware River...Ive watch them swoop down and catch fish out of our lake..
 
I've seen a few in my area in the Adirondack Foothills although they haven't stopped at my bird feeders yet. There are a few that nest along the Hudson River not too far from me.

Their manly Fish eaters, And will eat carrion, And rodents...Also I've seen them in our fields snatch snakes....After all they are Vultures.......
 
The Redhead and I saw a bike in Sturgis 1992 getting towed away, The owner had Eagle claws hangin from the grips of his bike, Bet he did not get a free pass on that day, Please watch urself @ Sturgis, The LEO is craking down til this day
