BAH! HUMBUG!!

Ron, I'm in eastern ND right now and this is what I have to look forward to also. Keep warm.

We came back from five weeks in Texas and are heading back again right after the New Year. My body doesn't like this cold much anymore.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I'm setting in Lodi, Ca with a plus 34 degree temperature. I have an electric hot oil heater under the desk with a moving blanket over it and my legs for warmth. I just thought it was cold here. I fueled the truck in North Dakota, one winter's night. The temperature was minus 30 degrees, with a wind chill of minus 20 degrees.

Gee!!! It just got downright hot here.12.jpg

Was down in the single digits a couple of nights ago...and I had to be outside at work for over an hour in it, escorting trucks in and out of the rear gate. It was a balmy 28* on my way to work tonight. But we're gonna pay for it Sunday and Monday nights, as the temp is supposed to drop to 2 and 3 respectively.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Time to grab the snow skies, and head "NORTH" bound............My babies put away, on blocks, battery tender hooked up, gas tank full w/stabilizer added, and being kept warm with a blanket covering it over...I'm ready! BRING ON THE SNOW!

The one good thing with the extreme cold is that it will freeze out most the bugs and insects , So maybe we'll have a relatively bug free spring...

My daughter wants me to move to Westbrook, Minnesota to "live out the rest of my life". She said I could live in her basement apartment. There is an unattached garage for my tools and projects. My grand daughter wants me to move there and be her "basement troll", so I can make her a trike too.

I think it will be good, till the polar bears, and penguins try to get in bed with me so they can get warm.:xzqxz:

Sometimes familiarity breeds contempt....I own a two family house, And after my Mom and Pop past, half of it has been vacant except twice when my Sons were in-between houses...

Just something to think about, Especially if you are a independent type...AKA....Set in your ways...
