Steamer Trunk ????? :)

I use mostly T-Bags, they have a very wide variety of very useable bags.
T-Bags | Motorcycle Luggage

They have their own web site, but it seems to be down right now.

There are a number of good manufacturers....I have one Nelwon-Riggs bag, but I prefer Tbags.

For the luggage rack on the tour pak, look at the Dekker Supreme

we have used a few different types, but found that a garbage bag inside to start out with will really help keep things dry. We have been caught in rain for a few days at a time before and learned the hard way !!

I like the garbage bag idea,I'm going to use that one.
I went looking for waterproof soft luggage and got offered some pretty expensive stuff. I went to a militaria Fair on the weekend and found 2 nylon reinforced bags. Green and about 3 times the size of a usual duffel bag. No readable markings on them. With a bit of shock cord from the tent shop they will close up tight. Cheap at $10,waterproof and tough. That will fit my needs.

i 2nd the motion for garbage bags. I always carry a couple of extra. And lots of bungy cords. I hate when I loose stuff on bumps.

We line every bag packed on the outside with a garbage bag....been doing it for years that way, even if bags are labled water proof. If water wants to find its way in something it will

We have had very good experiences with T Bags. We have travelled in all kinds of weather and never had an issue, but if you are in an all day soaker, I think a garbage bag on the inside would help with any weeping seams.

I would also suggest not packing as much clothing and visiting a laundromat along the way. Its a lot easier to work around 5 days of clothing than 10 days.

Have a great trip!!

An old thick is UPS. If you know your route and you know your motels stops in advance , you mail clothes to the motels. When you get there you mail dirtiy clothes home . Unless you you don't like jeans for some reason, you really don't need a lot to wear after all we are bikers.;) and laundromat in between keeps 2pair of jeans clean, unless you want to wear a towel while you wash the only pair you brought , suggest only doing it after midnight <LOL>
