has anybody use these before? I have the stock dunlops on the rear and the avon trike tire on the front. so far I have been pleased with its performance and was wondering if there rear tire unique configuration is an advantage. what would be a good upgrade for the rear other than the avon?

just to clairify this is a rear tire made by Avon for trikes. saw it on jp cycles, AM21 roadrunner 230/160B15. pretty expensive around 250 dollars each. looks similar a very wide rear tire that would go on a 2 wheeler. anyboby have these? may consider them if I can see others opinions on them. check them out, and lets see what ya think!

I run Kumho At31 - 205/65R15 on my Tri glide. $70 each. 22lb rear, 35lb front, 18lb air ride. Very pleased. Still have OEM Dunlop on front.

The Avon Roadrunner AM21 230/60B15 is designed for motorcycles like customs, choppers, etc... not trikes. Like Cavie said, trikes use car tires on the rear.

I'm pretty sure that tire is standard equipment on the rear of Boss Hoss bikes.
It would be a poor choice for trike use.

Goodyear Comfortreads > Have a nice soft sidewall .... and are what I will switch to when the Dunlops are toast.
