What do they do for the fuel gauge float? Does the gauge continue to read true or there a sight change?

Unfortunately I couldn't use the lift. Handle bars got in the way. But if you use the deluxe lift, there will be no change in the fuel gauge; because it lifts the front as well as the back.

If it is a 14 or later, there is no effect on the gas gauge. On 13 and earlier models it may change the fuel gauge a little (1/4 of a gallon)..sometimes that will make them more accurate, other times less. :laugh:

If you are running stock bars or any kind of apes, you should be able to use a 1.5" lift. It is important to loosen the rear tank bolts and slide the tank all the way back. Doing that should give clearance for the bars. Only time that would not work is if you have the bars adjusted way down...sort of like a cafe placement.

2" DK Tank lift with rear too! 2015 Freewheeler

The 2" Tank lift fits great on my 2015 along with the rear tank spacers It looks real good!
My dealer service Mgr noticed it right away and comments on it every time he sees it!
