Help!!!

When we first got the trike, she was unhappy with the squeek they made when she moved them............A shot of WD-40 and now they are too loose:no::rolleyes:

Aside from drilling holes in the factory armrests and somehow pinning them in,does anyone have any suggestions on how to make them not quite so "floppy"???

Thanx

Hi 2fromTX, My '95 Aspencade has a plastic washer at the bottom and at the top, with a locking nut on the bottom. I cleaned those and put just a touch of graphite on each side of the washers. That seemed to cure the squeek, but they still seem to stay in place. Of course I don't have a co-rider moving them every now and then.

Hey Dick,

Just a little shot of WD40 took care of the squeek, and I tried snugging up the mount bolts a bit,but they are still too floppy for her. I dont want to drill holes, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

How goes the recovery??

Were ya able to go on the "5 state run"??

Steve

Thanks for asking. The recovery is going great. I wasn't able to ride the 5 state run, but did make it out to help handout cookies at the fifth stop here in Elkhart. Our museum puts on a great reception for the bikers, with free cookies, tea, lemonaide and a great museum to browse through and rest out of the wind. The bikers really seem to appreciate it every year.

Hope you figure out your floppy arm rest problem.

Someone requested information on one of these forums because he had a whine that seemed to be coming from right behind his seat, and he wondered what it might be. The answer he got, was to leave the wife at home!

I'm sure that's when the fight started........
