Hello everyone. I rode 2 wheels since 1972 but had to quit about 15 years ago because of my hands. Started riding trikes but had to sell my last trike, Boom Fun Trike, due to loss of job, home and dignity. Now I just try to survive until things get better. Anyhow, I'm trying to find out if they still make these new or it looks like they quit manufacturing in 2013...

what's up???? If I ever get back on my feet, I'd like to own one.

Guess I should have specified. wondering about the Stallion Trikes.....

that's a shame. I heard they shut down at one point, something about the engine, but I thought they were back in production. Kind of hesitant about getting one if you don't have a place to get parts...

keeping an eye on the new three wheel Elio but I don't plan on holding my breath. Oh well, maybe back to the VW Trikes....Boom is in Florida and the other German Trike manufacturer doesn't sell in the US any more...

Welcome to Trike Talk, glad to have you on board. It is true about Stallion not making anymore trikes as of now but who knows... us Stallion owners can hope some day they will start up production again.

Not really sure if i am doing this right, but here goes.....

I've got an 09 Boom Lowrider w/ the 1.6L Ford Duratec motor. It's coupled to a late model Brazilian VW 4spd transaxle. It has great acceleration, handles the corners like a sports car and is extremely comfortable. I can keep up with all the standard bikes in the corners with the exception of the high perf. sports bikes, which eat my lunch on the straights. With its laid back seating, stretch out road bars you can ride all day long and look forward to more at night. Lighting , braking, acceleration, etc is excellent. I have been riding since the 60's from Hondas to Harleys and this is one of the coolest rides I've been on. They are still available. There is a Dealer in Florida, Haus of Trikes and Bikes, Lakeland, Fl who imports them and has used ones from time to time. It always draws a crowd wherever you park, so you better be prepared for all the gearhead questions. I've had it in 3 bike shows and taken first in class every time. The fit, finish, functionality are first rate. The welds are beautiful and it is done right.
I LOVE IT!!!! Jimmer

Welcome aboard. Stallions are indeed not being made but parts are still available from the factory. The mother company Motor Trike is still very much in business. Used ones are available.

Yes, they are nice looking and good reliability - love that German Engineering.

WELCOME to TRIKE TALK...Yep, still available "Used", and New Parts are still available from Motor Trike as per Gorilla's Post.....ThumbUp

Really like the look of that, how does it fit a big guy? I'm 6'7 most things don't fit me!

I am 6' and have plenty of room. The clutch and brake pedals are fully adjustable for long or short legs and there is plenty of stretch out room on the floor tubing. It's a real comfortable ride.
