Apes on a Trike

Hi dickcathy! I don’t have an answer to your question but would like to welcome you to TrikeTalk from west Texas! :buckingreindeer:

Has anybody put 12 to 14 inch Apes on their bike and does it handle the same

I don't know about Triglides, but my 2017 Freewheeler came with 12" mini-apes from the factory & I love them.

To answer your original question about apes on trikes, I did once see a bear ride a dirt bike at the circus!:D

Apes

I put 11" Santee bars on my HD trike years ago - love them/would consider going higher if ever need to replace them or decide to buy a new one.

:)

NO adverse effects/issues.

welcome aboard Richard. I believe a lot of members have with great success. Exactly how it effects an individual trike will depend of that trike. A lot of variables.

Nope, but I have extended reach handlebars on mine that come back toward the rider two inches. That has made quite a difference for me.
