Anyone try this windshield?

Still on a search for a 'shield for my trike...I want something that I can continue to use the windshield bags (so ones like The Wave or X-Stream are out), and in my search I saw these "wide" models which claim to "offer additional protection for you and your passenger, as well as improved sound quality from your stereo. It will clean up the wind stream above your speakers allowing a fuller richer sound to reach your ears.". I'm not crazy about the look, but I'm usually a "function over form" type of person (this is also my first time with a good-looking scoot), but I dont want to lay money out to find it isn't that good....Has anyone here used one before? Reviews?

I have a great, height adjustable windshield for my 1500 GW, called a "Windbender". ( http://firecreekacc.com/index.htm ), but I understand they recently have a new HD model. At least worth looking into.

I (almost) always have mine at the lowest position and have a clear view of the road ahead by looking over the top of the shield. The wind stream is "thrown" over the top of your head with no annoying buffeting.

If you check out their site, be sure to look at the left side of the home page for videos and explanations. Don't just go directly to your model.

Best wishes for whatever you end up with... ThumbUp

Some great shields being brought up....I need to find more work so I can grab a few of them LOL

(hate "starting over" on a new [to me] bike, but for once, I'm not complaining...I've already done 3 day trips in the 150-200 mile range, with nowhere near the pain I was getting on 2 wheels. It was DEFINITELY worth it)

I had the 14 inch half moon top from flhtcustomwindshields on my 05 Ultra and loved it. Had the light grey tint and it really cut down on the headlight glare at night and cut the rain and wind. I am getting ready to order another for the 08 I just bought. Love the fact that it comes out almost to the end of the batwing and cuts some of the cold air off my hands in the cold riding season. Some don't like the fact that you look thru it,rather than over it, but I don't drive my car with my head out of the sunroof so why should I ride with my head stuck up over a windshield..

This is just me but I find looking through a plastic windshield opposed to a glass windshield uncomfortable. I can see distortions I don't like. With the recurve windshields I can look over the top and not feel buffeting. I wear a FF helmet and one shield at a time is enough for me. Thankfully not everyone is the same. Glad you found what you like.
