I've been using a full size air mattress and it ain't gettin' it! Any recommendations on a good airbed that will fit and still be able to close everything up tight? TIA
I realize this is nearly a year old, but wanted to pass along that I have a Lees-ure Lite (Cycle model) and inserted 2"-3" thick memory foam inside the upholstered mattress that comes with the camper. It takes some effort to get it fitted right and the zippers closed, but once that's done it holds up fine. Still allows room for storage on top of mattress. Works for me.
We have a leesure lite and use a self inflating air mattress. I can't remember the brand at this time but think it's 2-1/2" thick when inflated. This works well for us. We just let it self inflate while setting up and then ad just a little air . We let the air out when packing up and leave it in place with the sheets and blanket on it. Works well for us.
I can understand that. I have found that there is a big difference in air mattress. A quality back packing style air mattress is much better than a regular air mattress that can be purchased at Walmart or like stores. I also found there was a difference in the back packing mattress as well. The one we have is insulated and keeps the cold from coming through from the bottom. Like most things everyone likes something different. I do like memory foam, but they do take away from the height of the storage area.
