Anti freeze leak

Crawled over a speed bump but scraped the whole way. Now the protective cowling protecting the engine underneath is smashed and torn when I backed up. Leaking anti freeze under bike now. Are there hoses under that protective cowling that could have been punctured? Can't get my head under it to see Is there a way to get a 1-2 inch lift on the front end of trike?

Yup, water pump and connections is under cowling in front of engine. Is that way on my 2017 and I believe the earlier year water cooled head models are the same way.

First welcome aboard. Second you can set the parking brake and put a floor jack under the frame where the side stand used to attach to the frame. You can lift it as high as you need. Good luck hopefully you just have a hose problem.

Welcome. As others have said, the water pump and hoses are under that cover. Hopefully you just pulled a hose loose and didn't damage the water pump.

First thanks for all the responses to my leak. I ran the trike up on a auto ramp and noticed the belly pan was crushed from hitting speed bumps. Upon removal I saw the problem. Back of belly pan with ribbed vents was smashed into my resivor tank putting a hole in it.😩 Ordered a new tank and new "FLAT" belly pan this time. The slotted pan style sticks down lower and it can easily get smashed upward to get to the resivor tank punching a hole.

I could have have repaired the plastic tank but it is so difficult to get to as I had to remove side floor boards, side covers and toe shifter I installed new. Hoses are difficult to get off the tank also, stupid pliers clamps.

Now....what's an easy fix for raising the front of the trike 1-2 inches.

I'm thinking you do not own a Harley Tri Glide because I don't know what you are talking about. We don't have a belly pan or a reservoir tank under the trike. Your profile pic is a Honda GW Trike. ??????

I put a 21 in front tire on mine it raised it about an inch.

Me thinks you nailed it Bob. He needs to post the issue in the Honda section of the forum. Or, a mod need to move the thread.
