If what I’ve been reading is correct the water pumps on M8 motors are capable of variable speed and the command voltage for speed is controlled by ECM. The same pump is retrofitted to the twin cam that is not wired or programmed for that. The conversion kit includes an adapter to connect the 2 wire harness to the 4 pin connector on pumps. Original twin cam pump contains a thermostat. The ground for the twin cam pump original or retrofit is controlled by the ecm. Does anyone know if the ground is supplied depending on coolant temperature even though they’re originally using a thermostat. I know turning on ignition and rolling throttle will run the pump and fans. Curious if the pump runs full speed all the time when trike running or only based on coolant temperature.
