 HI EVERYONE

I wanted to give yu all an update on how we are doing.

Joy is still running great. she has had her new head retorqued and is running amazingly well with no issues.

I am well and do not need any surgical intervention to repair my back. my finger is permanently disfigure and stuck straight with no bending what so ever. the break was on the back side of the bone and a large knot of bone developed on the back side of the knuckle preventing it from bending. I can get a third surgery to permanently fuse the knuckle remove some extra bone and put my finger in a permanent bent in position.

my back is fine and healing slow. im in physical therapy now for my back and to strengthen my hand arm and finger. my back muscles were badly torn in my lower back and are recovering slowly.

I want to mention how bad this one accident injured my back. I now have 4 bulging discs in my neck, 6-8 bad discs in my upper back, L1-L2 has a bone spur and t1 through L1 there are 4 bad discs and L-5 s1 has a bad bulging disc that is the only one they worry about except the ones in my neck these are really bad bulging.

well we are doing well riding joy is great with her new pink color everyone sees her and everyone luvs her new color. having a 6 ft tall pink girl riding her in pink hot pants gets attention too.

as my pain lessens im having more fun.

thank you all for the good wishes as we have been healing.

It takes time. Time is your friend in the healing process.
My accident although not as bad as yours took me out of commission for 18 months.
I felt human again after 10 months or so. Getting back on my bike was the best medicine.
I was lucky. I had no memory of what happened. So nothing to fear at the time. But to heal.
Now 7+ years down the road of life. Im back 95%. 5% is gone for good.

Im just glad to hear your healing and feeling better by the day and riding again.:)
