Always Remember 911

My sister was there, on business (new york) at the time, of the plane(s) and actually witnessed that whole, bad situation............:mad::mad: Lucky she was not in the building at that time...

I still get chills down my spine whenever I see the first tower fall. I was watching the TV at work that day and said to co-workers right before it fell, "Oh My God, that thing is coming down." Gets me every time I see it.

At that time I didn't have a TV in my office. A friend called and asked me if I had heard about the twin towers. David Robinson and Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs were referred to as the Twin Towers, another NBA team was courting Tim Duncan so I asked if Tim was leaving. He told me no, to turn on the TV right away.

That evening I bought a small TV for my office so I could keep up with the rescue efforts. From that day forward, out of respect the Spurs and broadcasters never used that moniker again.
