I was thinking that I don't remember me adding a introduction.
Been riding bikes since 1963. Motorcycles was my first true love and it continues onward. I am a DAV, medically retired, U.S. Army, combat.

After being disabled and retired I went to school. Had to use my GI bill, you know. Got certified welder and fabricator. Went to college for small engines repair/ motorcycles mainly. We built some crazy things.
I have good days and really bad days. but that's life. My wife and I always ride together. I love doing trips/long distance.
I had a lot of dreams as a kid. I have done what I could to fulfill my dreams. I have built several bikes, some from the ground up. Now age and my disability has limited my hobby. That's the part I hate the most.
Ride often but ride safe

Dirtdobber, Glad to have you aboard and want to thank you for your service. I also began riding back then, about 1957, and we both probably remember all the great bikes back then. I was always a Triumph fan and my first was a Triumph Tiger Cub. Hope to hear you posting a lot soon.

My 1st ride was the 66 BSA lightning. Had to kick it 30 times to get it running. Built up a very strong right calf muscle. ;) No ignition switch, no horn , no turn indicators,no speedometer. Basically a basket case that ran and leaked.
was a blast back then. Traded it for a brand new $1,200 Honda 450.

Thank you for your service and a late Welcome to TT, for you! Oh those early days seamed so much simpler to me. Loved my little 450 Honda in 1970 that started my life on 2 wheels, and glad I stayed on two, until I had to go to 3, but knees are still in the breeze for both of us!

Welcome to Trike Talk!

I too ride a Trike due to my Service Connected Disability. Been on 3 since 2009 and have logged @ 60k miles so far. Miss 2 at times, but heck I am still riding.

95Bravo (now 31B), Zulu 6 (also A9, P5,P7) when I had to separate after 10+ Years...
