I am not fond of Dr. Pepper; regular or diet. Many years ago when my wife and I were playing golf at Kelly AFB golf course, we were really thirsty (hot day) and there was only one vending machine out on the back 9. It ONLY had Dr. Pepper and the missus almost threw up when I bought a can for her; said it tasted like drinking funeral flowers. I drink diet Mountain Dew or diet Orange Crush.

I like Dr Pepper, and apparently others do as well, since it is the second-best-selling soft drink behind Coca-Cola, so I'll take that as a no.

Dr. P fan here also, although I'm a diabetic I can't do any diet drinks, they just taste soooooo bad.
