Hello All, while waiting for my MT kit to arrive, I was wondering what some of you did with your spare parts after the conversion? Had any success with Craigslist, EBay,etc. and is there much of a market for them? I don't have much room to store them and would like to get your feedback. Thanks.

Rear wheel and shock/spring/pump move pretty fast. List on gl1800riders.com.

I was more than happy to have my installer keep my plastic. He has a attic full of the stuff. Besides, how many folks that have ever triked their ride wanted to go back to two wheels and had the conversion removed.... I've never heard of one.

I purchased a "Tag A Long" mount for the back of the trike and mounted my saddlebags on for extra cargo area. Works great and with no wheels you never know its back there. We put a 12 pack cooler in the area where the rear wheel used to be and have the saddlebags for rain gear and extra clothing. My wife likes the extra room for treasures we find on our trips. Easy to get a case of wine home if you enjoy winery tours. JerryD

I sold my Harley parts on EBay. I did very well with the sales, especially considering the parts were of no use to me - $1400 plus change. It was all gone within two weeks. I got space in the barn, plus cash; a win/win for me... :D

Sold spare parts from conversion for over $2000 in various sales, mostly thru Bike specific forum, and some thru E-Bay. Prefer Forums, E-Bay gets about 13% in fees between listing, selling, and PayPal. Seemed to sell better on Forums as well. Some parts were sold by looking at the parts wanted sections of forum and sending private messages.ThumbUp

One responder has a Harley, the other a BMW. The number of Wing conversions are far more than both of the other put together.
While there is a market for the Honda take offs, you will be lucky to get much for these parts as there are so many available.
Look on E-bay at the prices asked and pay attention to the actual prices these parts sell for.
A local converion shop has so many saddle bags sitting around he would give them away!
I did manage to sell the major take offs from mine but not for much!
