aerodynamic idea

The bottom of my fenders pick up bugs. Hundreds in the first mile. Also meaning those fenders are pushing a lot of air (resistance)
Someone should fabricate a " cone " kind of thing - which would attach to the bottom fender & thus allow a better aerodynamic flow - reducing resistance and bug pick up. I am convinced it would aid in gas milage as well. (Ir would look good as well.)

I can't tell from your trike's picture. Do you have Baker Trike Wings? If not you might try them. I added them to my '06 MotorTrike Adventure not too long after I converted. It really reduced the bug situation and I actually gained gas mileage. I hear tell it helps the passenger wind turbulence also but my wife never rode on the '06 so I have no personal experience there. I forget the cost for the trike wings but it was all that much.. Just a thought. :xszpv::xszpv:

Just cut the bottom of the fenders off [Bob them] That will take care of bugs, and improve the looks and aerodynamics, And as and added feature keep the rear brakes cool...ThumbUp

Good idea if that part wasn't holding the Aqua Shields up.....:xzqxz::xzqxz: I suppose he could redesign that rear support somehow and tuck it up under the bike. Would be interesting to see for sure.:xszpv::xszpv:

leg wings will help some but not so in summer as it blocks air causing extra heat on your legs in the summer. I use them only in colder times.
A good fiberglass guy could make something easy enough.
I to like the idea. I am a fabricator but not with fiberglass.
just a thought.

Trike wings work very well to keep bugs of the rear fenders.
