I was told by Motor trike that you cannot us the adjustable tour pack with their kit. That was disappointing! My wife is not exactly happy losing the extra inches allowed by moving the tour pack back.

Question, who has successfully moved their tour pack with some type of modification. And could you explain what or how your did it.

On my 12 Road Glide i used a 1/4 thick aluminum plate, slotting one set of holes as much as 2 inches then drilled the mounting holes for the tour box it allowed me some adjust.

I put a TourPak on my RoadKing then had it triked with a MotorTrike Gladiator IRS. I had previously added a TourPac using a standard rack found on Ultra Classics. Then, I purchased the Kuryakin relocators (P/N 8957 ), providing 1", 2", or 3" set-back. I have no idea why someone would tell you that you can't use those relocators.

Dennis, take a look at our Tour-Pak Relocation Kit. I think it will work fine for your set-up w/o costing a mint.

I cut 2 pieces of steel about 15 inches long 1 1/2 inch wide and drilled several holes in them and now I have an adjustable mount. I have tour pack back about 6 inches from stock and the wife loves it. It was an afternoon project and used what I had laying around the garage.
